Turn Offs

A female was walking behind me this morning while I was going to the lift. From her foot steps, I could tel that she's trying to overtake me. Well, let her. The knee length skirt without any split did not allow me to take bigger steps. When I got to the lift area, there were a number of people waiting already. It's always like that and us being from the B2, might have to wait a little longer in the mornings. So, the girl that was behind me came in (she tried the service lift but it was on the way up). Ok, she's decent looking. The hair is ok and the complexion's ok too. No make-up at all but she's clean enough. The dressing may be a little out. But ok lar.

So, the first lift that came was all full. Had to wait for another one which was not long after. And she being the last to arrive at the waiting area, tried to squeeze (not exactly have to squeeze, but she was like trying to go right in front of the door). That is one thing I hate most in the mornings. There isn't exactly any queue for waiting for the lift but you kinda know who came first and since we are all working in tall office building, I suppose there's some kind of education level involved, and so I expect these people to be more civilised. There was this time when I was alone with this man who came in later, when the lift door opened, he just rushed in. Talk about being a gentlement, let alone manners! Anyways, back to the girl... I could sense that she's one of those kiasu and I wasn't in the mood to allow that to happen this morning. hehe. So, I just buat bodoh when the lift door opened and walk right through her and ahead of her. Ahahahhaha. Sometimes that felt good :p. So, being the very few first that went into the lift, I was stuck to the lift wall. That gives me free access to "observe" people right in front of me.

The girl was on my "10 o'clock". Hmmm, the complexion's really not bad. Wear specs, the hair texture also not bad. Natural black. Then I looked down. DAMN! Panty hose with open toes sandal. Damn Damn Damn. How can anyone still do that? What are they thinking? She's already wearing a very long skirt, why would she need the panty hose. And if you are wearing panty hose, how can you wear open toes sandals?

**********

For people who knows my husband well enough, they all know how choosy a person he is. We especially pity the guy he buys his spectacles from, the one who made his shirts, etc. etc. Call it "kiam siap" or perfectionist, that's how he is. Over the years, he has influenced me on criticisms. Here's the list he most pantang with:-

1) Grandmama panties - I'm sure you all know what I mean. But don't get it wrong. It's ok if you wear grandmama panties. I wear them too. But please please, try to be discreet. They are not for show, especially with now-so-popular-low-hip-jeans. It's even worse when it's exposed by some aunties.

2) Butt cracks - Who finds butt cracks sexy? I just don't. Thank god Bryan doesn't too. I guess it wouldn't be so bad to see them at cool places like clubs and all. But what about while you want to try out a pair of shoes and the salesgirl squat down and show you her butt cracks while looking for that pair of shoes you want to try out. Or what about seeing some when you are in some stuffy, oily hawker centres?

3) Dirty finger nails - There's this temp. waiter at Mong Kok Char Chan Teng @ SS2 who has the dirtiest finger nails a waiter should have. And coincidently, everytime we go there, he serves us. Yes, despite being just a temp, we always get him. It started with Bryan. He told me about him. But I never will look at his finger nails when he brings us our food.

4) Eyebrow - Believe or not, my husband trims my eyebrows for me sometimes.

5) Hairy legs - I guess it's not very common now. But when we were in college, there was this Chinese girl with very hairy legs.

6)Panty hose with open toes shoes - Should I say more?

7) G-string - I suppose G-strings are invented to prevent the panty lines on the butts to be visible. However, with G-strings, the panty lines on the butts are gone but it's showing on the waist with a pair of low-hip jeans!

8) What else?

Monday, April 09, 2007

Had lunch with a colleague today. Then she brought up her husband's condition which shocked me greatly.

Apparently, the husband condition is very much like a claustrophobic. It just happened recently. It's so serious that he can't even drive but he can ride a bike. However, their doctor said it's somekind of anxiety disorder. When I mentioned it's very much like claustrophobic, in some ways it's not. For example driving. He can't drive, can't even sit in when someone else's driving. However, he's alright when the wife (my colleague) is with him. He has this idea of dying anytime and he wants his family to be with him, in case anything bad happen to him or family, there are least together.

Over the weekend, the family had to travel outstation except for one son because the son had to attend classes. The husband got so worried because the family is not complete and my colleague had to slowly convince the husband.

When he's alone without the wife, he'll not use the lift and climb upstairs to 11th floor. During the nights, he had to hold the wife's hand to sleep. At times, he will hold it so hard. He calls the wife constantly even at work to make sure that she's safe.

One thing for sure, I must salute my colleague. She can still laugh about it when telling us all these. I can imagine myself in her shoes and I really cannot imagine myself laughing about it.

I really cannot imagine...

p/s: Did I mention that my colleague is only one year older than I am?

Perhentian II

Went to Perhentian island again in March. It all started when I told a couple of friends that I might be going to Perhentian with my sister when she came back from Phillipines. Then they were interested. I've never thought of asking them to join because they prefer luxury travel and the male counterpart doesn't take sea ride well. So, I reminded them again and again that they will be at least 20 minutes boat-ride, flying is not an option.

The date was set. This time we are going to Kuala Besut by bus and fly AirAsia home. The ride there was rather not too pleasant for the friends as I did not remind them that the bus ride could be quite cold. In the end, they couldn't sleep. I'm smarter this time. I brought along my multi-purpose "sarong" and Bryan had a shawl from HY. He wanted to bring along his "DHL" jacket which is bright yellow in colour and I objected. We all sure had a good laugh when this was brought up.

We were suppose to catch the 9.30pm bus from Hentian Putra. So, we all left on the dot from work that day. Everything was going smoothly except that we can't get a taxi to the bus station as planned. First call, no taxi. Second, no taxi. Third, still no taxi. We made at least 5 calls. The last number saved us. We were still a little worried because it was raining and KL is known for its phenomenal traffic conditions when there's rain. Thank god the taxi driver knew which road to skip and we were at the station before 9pm.

So, all's set. Get on the bus, sleep, eat and smoke at the rest area, sleep, get off the bus, get a cab to the jetty, eat and smoke again, then we should be on the boat towards the island and be on the island by 8am.

The road trip was ok except that the bus had to stop a few times because of some gear problem. It's not able to engage the first gear and therefore it has to stop sometimes when going uphill. Despite stopping for so many times, we arrived Jerteh before 5am. I opened my eyes when the bus stopped, Bryan asked where were we, I said "Petrol station!". Thank god he didn't choose to believe me because that was our stop. The bus driver was ready for the next stop when we got up.

A van came to pick us up to the jetty. Since it's still early and the first boat out is 7am, the driver took us for some, erm... breakfast? Local glutinous rice. Yes, rice at five in the morning. But only the 2 guys had that. We ladies only had a drink with some doughnuts.

Crap! Did I tell you it has been raining since the day before. It was still raining at 7am. They boat man asked if we want to wait or leave. It'll be a little choppy and cold if we leave. We all agreed to leave. The first half of the boat ride was filled with laughter because we were making fun of Eugene and being pitam and all; and the bumpy ride too. After a while, we didn't talk much because Eugene didn't seem ok. But he survived the ride. We had to stop at Coral Bay because Long Beach is too rough (the sea). So, we started our first jungle trek. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I remembered and we were each carrying our bags.

Lily hut is not that bad but got no how shower. Our room is rather dark and E & E kept complaining about the toilet. By the time we settled at Lily, we all decided a nap was best, meeting again at 12.30 for lunch. By lunch, we were all quite hungry because our last meal was 5am. The portion is more than enough and tasted good. We decided to go for our snorkeling trips the next day. We just stayed at Long Beach for a couple of hours then went to Coral Bay again to meet some friends from our last trip. Walked back to Long Beach before it got too dark. Then it's dinner again. Dinner wasn't too bad and we all had desert. I was disappointed with my banana split. After dinner, we took our (much dreaded) showers. Then proceed to BuBu.

Snorkeling trips scheduled in the afternoon. Spent the morning by the beach, read, sun bath, joined the guys in the sea for a bit. Had lunch at 12.30 and went for the snorkeling trip. Nothing fantastic because the water wasn't too clear. Frustrated because the mask I have kept entering water then I just decided to quit. The highlight of the trip was the spring water. Forgot where the place is. The water was so refreshing and cooling. After the refreshing bath, we to the kampung for some snacks. Had some keropok lekor (tasted especially nice with their sauce). There were four others with us for the snorkeling trip. One of them was this skinny Malay guy who shivers tremendously everytime he got up from the water. We just couldn't stop laughing whenever we see him coming up the boat. And then the other gal got sea sick after 10 mins on the boat. Ahahhahahahha! Stopped by Coral Bay instead of Long Beach. Eugene just won't give up until his tasted Alan's roti canai. The guys had a couple of beer then we head back to Long Beach for dinner. Since it's our last night there, HY came to join us. Went to BuBu. Watched the fire show again the hit the bed before midnight.

Our initial plan was to leave the island on the last boat @ 4pm. But the smart Bryan insisted to go for a one day trip in Kota Bahru. So we left the island at 12 noon. The road trip from the jetty to Kota Bahru is about an hour. Our first stop in Kota Bahru was for lunch. Nasi kukus. Nice. Rice was soft and the dishes tasted good. By then, it was almost 4pm already. The driver then brought us to the border of Thai. Could see Thailand (dunno which part) across the river. Don't see the point of going there though. Then we went to the sitting Buddha and the sleeping Buddha. Was quite fascinated by the sitting Buddha. It's huge and am quite surprise to find it in Kota Bahru. I guess must be due to the Thai influence there.

Thai food for dinner and we were early. Got there just after 6pm and we were all still full. The food was nice and the most interesting dish was the bees and larvae. It's deep fried and tasted quite ok actually. I didn't take much though because it's larvae. If I didn't know what it was, I may eat more.

We were not able to walk around town after dinner because of the rain. So, we got the driver to send us to the airport because he had to travel back to the jetty. That was the worst part of the whole trip. We were all very tired, slight from 9pm delayed until 11pm. The airport was freaking cold and outside was so humid and infested with mozzies. Finally got on the plane home. Poor Bryan was so uncomfortable because we were seated at the last row in the plane and it's the most cramp. Luckily it was only a short trip. I slept throughout the flight.

It was definitely a good trip with good companies. Would be nice to stay another night so we can laze by the beach doing nothing.

IWD

3 March, the International Women's Day. Only knew that it was yesterday when I heard from the radio in the morning, on the way to work. Only today that I saw something which made me wonder. Someone wrote it in (Chinese-Mandarin) as "San(3) Pa(8) Fu Nu Jie (Women)". Directly translated, it's called the "3 8 Women's International Day". Then I said to myself "Yea, yesterday was 8 March". So, it's easy for me to understand that. After awhile, I thought "Wait, San Pa? Isn't it something that a lot of people like to use on women (in Chinese)?" Haha. So I'm anxious and would like to know who chose the date and who gave it the name "San Pa Fu Nu Jie". Is there any implications? :p

This is the Long Beach @ Perhentian and the reason I like it so much. Mamak on the beach, with strong sea breeze. Best of all, with such perfect setting, it does not cost ur legs or hands, not even close...

I'm going to Perhentian again in March. Yay! Am dying for a beach holiday since before the CNY.

YES! YES! YES!

(hopefully the new merchant under my care will not launch anytime before my scheduled holiday. or else, i'll have to say bye bye to my beach holiday!)

Happy Chinese New Year...

A friend told me that the blog I wrote just before the CNY sounded depressing. Well, I would not use the word "depress" but I sure wasn't looking forward to it. Today, the 10th day of the lunar calendar, my CNY was not that bad afterall.

The worst that happened was the longest queue I've ever waited in my life. Happened on our way back to KL from M'cca on the day with the worst traffic expected, Tuesday. Thinking of saving some travelling time, I didn't ask for a stop when I see the first rest area. When passing, I saw it wasn't so bad. The next one was more than an hour after which we also travelled 10+km in an hour. Thinking "Better be safe than sorry. What if the journey ahead is like the past one hour? The next rest area is another 30km". So, I asked Bryan to stop at the next rest area. He wasn't too happy. Said it's going to be congested. Then I told him that for the past on hour, we only managed to do 10+km. The next one is 30km. "Tell me what to do". Ha Ha. How wor? Stop also sien, don't stop also cannot. So, he stopped and I had to walk about 50m to the rest rooms and the traffic is not moving in front. So I walked. When I was approaching the rest rooms, I saw two long lines. Both to the "ladies". Damn. The longest queue I've attempted, worse of all, I've got no choice. So,there I was, queueing. While queueing, I was looking around for bushes thinking I could skip the queue. HA HA. Do you think that's possible? Of course not! Everywhere, every corner around the rest area is not even near secluded. Boh pien. Had to queue. Longest queue ever in my life!

**************

As mentioned, the CNY turned out not as bad as I expected. Most of the time spent travelling. On the eve, we left KL for M'cca around noon. Bad traffic expected and we only arrived M'cca after 4pm. B's mom was waiting for us for the prayer. Food was cooked, don't since what time. It is this time, and only this, that his mom will cook. Steam fish (plain except with water. How can anyone steam fish without even the ginger?), mixed vege, roast chicken and pork (got from Wilson Chicken Rice). After praying, it's our turn to "enjoy" the food. Damn, she got the microwave for months now and dare to say don't know how to use. When asked what she did with the microwave, she said cooked maggie and heat up takeaways. WTF?!!?!? Then B asked me to teach her and I can't be bothered and just went ahead with heating those food up. HAHA. I dared not touch the fish and I think B also didn't touch the fish. Only she was eating the fish and she wanted to keep the leftover and I asked, "Who's going to eat?" ahahhahahahahah. She probably got the hint!

Then, we went to the temple to pay respect to B's late dad. (Or did we? I think we did lar). Nothing much happened at the temple and we went to B's grandma's after that. Saw Unlce Ronnie there but without Jackie. So, we asked about Jackie and apparently she was going somewhere with the family and therefore didn't go back M'cca. Wah, then you know what B's mom said "Married already where can go holidays with the family during new year? Must come back first lar?" Wah, WTF? KNNCCB! Nevermind for now. None of my business.

Then we went to Chong's house for some gambling. My god! The whole house is full of antiques/claywares. You can't even take big steps in the house. Had to walk with caution and the hands are not to swing around. (A bit exaggerated but almost as bad lar). The most filled house I've ever seen.

First thing we did on the first day of CNY was to pay respect to "uncle". Should have brount my camera along and show you the food that was brought for the prayers. The hall was full with food. After the first temple, we went to another temple where B's auntie's staying. Then, we are to proceed to grandma's place again. And guess what this time. On our way to grandma's, the mom said she got not enough oranges. Had to go buy more oranges. Nabeh! It's the first day of new year. Where to find oranges wor. The best part is, we haven't even visited anyone alive! Pattern number one! I kept quiet. I'm not driving and I don't need to go find so just keep quiet. Take it as joyride loh.

We left M'cca for JB that day. Arrived JB about 7pm. Had dinner, went to visit my grandma, went home for little gambling and hit the bed. Second day, we went shopping at Tebrau City. Not bad a place. Somemore got Itallianis there. Too bad we didn't have too much time cos leaving for M'cca again.

Arrived M'cca after 6pm, went to Dataran Pahlawan (lousy place) and then B's grandma's for dinner.

Next day, B's grandma's birthday lunch, left for KL about 4pm and got home after 8pm.

That's it for this year's CNY!

Chinese New Year is approaching. Many have made plans and some even already on leave. But me, I don't feel the excitement at all. No more rushing home for the reunion dinner, no more plans of long leave or rather the "whole-stretch-week" holiday. I just don't look forward for it at all. Instead I'm dreading it for I'll need to travel on the congested highway and worst of all, need to spend some time in M'cca. It's not really the place that I dread but the people.

I have not done anthing or preparation for the new year whatsoever. No new clothes, nothing I bought was meant for the new year. Worst of all, I haven't even clean my house. I mean normal cleaning, not the once a year spring clean. Oh, what have I become? Why am I feeling like this? I think I will opt for new year getaways. Let's see if it happens next year. But I have a problem. The new year getaways will mean to include MIL. Do I have to?

p/s: Damn, I think I'm so not looking forward to the new year because I'll need to spend time with her. Damn Damn Damn!

*****************

This morning on my way to work, there was a minor accident at the Templer roundabout. Involving a motorcycle, a taxi and a black Myvi. I think the taxi emergency braked while trying to avoid the motorcycle and the Myvi hit the taxi's backside. It happened at the exit to Old Klang Road. Must have happened less than 10 seconds because the drivers of the cars were just getting out from their cars to check out the damage and the rider was picking up his motorcycle. Just less than 10 feet of all these happenings, there was a police (with his unmarked motorcycle), standing by the driver's window of an old Volvo. The first thing that came into my mind was, "How can the policeman be busy with "trying" to issue a ticket to another vehicle while there's an accident happening 10 feet away?". Shouldn't the policemen at least try to help the rider picking up his motocycle, then direct all involved machines away from the middle of the exit of the roundabout to avoid congesting the traffic?. I was still thinking about the accident even after I have passed it. Then I thought maybe the policeman was "interrogating" the owner of the Volvo because he somehow caused the accident. From the look of it, it's quite unlikely that the Volvo caused the accident but I just needed a valid reason for our policeman.

Then as I was typing this, I thought "Maybe the accident happened while/right after the policeman has stopped the Volvo. He might not even realise the accident as his back was facing the road. But how is that possible? It's like less than 10 feet away....

We finally placed our order for a new sofa on the 1 Jan 2007. The initial delivery date was on 3 Feb. Then after a week, they called to postpone to the following week on the 10 Feb. Three days before the 10th, I called for the status/confirmation of the delivery. No one could give me a status insisting that if they cannot make on the 10 Feb, someone will call me on the 8th to inform me. Then I told them to better not call me on the 8th because I do not want to postpone again. Though I said that, I was somehow prepared for a delay on the 10th. Of course I was glad that I did not hear from them on the 8th nor the 9th. But I called them on the 10th so I don't have to wait for them aimlessly at home. So, I was told that they can't make it for the delivery today and have told the salesperson to call to inform us. The normal tai-chi happened when I called the showroom. Anyways, since I was already somehow prepared for the delay, I wasn't too upset. On the 12th, they called to confirm delivery on the 15th. Fine, I just said OK. No point getting work up. But we had a surprise call from them yesterday saying they can make it yesterday, but will be at 9.30pm. That's fine with us. At least it's earlier than the agreed date.

We had a quick dinner at the tai chow outside because it was almost 8.30pm when we both off work. Which I thought the delivery made it easy for our V-dinner. (At least we don't have to think of where to eat and we are running out of time. It's actually an excuse because I'm not really into V celebration. But at least it's a good reason when people asked about it :p). We were home by 9.40pm. 10 minutes late. But that's ok because the delivery people were not there yet. Was waiting while watching my favourite WLT. An hour passed when the episode finished. The sofa still hasn't arrive. Wait and wait and Bryan finally called their office at 11pm. Was told there are 10 minutes away. I was actually glad because I thought they will not come since it's already 11pm. But there are 10 minutes away. Yay!

After 15 minutes, they were finally at my doorstep with my new sofa set. Took it in and took of the wrappings. Sekali, it's a wrong one. They got the "L" on the wrong side. KNN! Took out the receipt (with the simple drawing) and confirmed it's on the wrong side. They called the office and then took back the sofa! Like Bryan said "So near, yet so far".

bizarre (new age?) relationship...

I've come about this relationship which I can't understand at all. Two parties; both single, both available; both seeking for partner; both appear desperate; and most importantly, both can click. Naturally, everyone would assume they should get together. Well, they are together, doing things all couples do, but what's missing is the "official title". Neither introduce each other to any of their friends as their respective partners. But what is that official title? Bryan never asked me to be his girlfriend even from the first day.

So, these two people were together for months, seeing each other when their schedules permit them to, and doing everything every couples do. But when asked about their relationship, they are only friends. This party I know better definitely has a liking for the other. Let's call this party "A". After months of dating, but not as couple (ahahhaha, I can't help but laughing when typing this), A finally had a talk with the other party about their relationship which resulted with nothing concrete. So A told the other party that it's impossible to each other again if nothing changes.

However, the other party called A the very next day, pretended nothing ever happened and A gave in. A just said to the other party that all those gotta stop but gave in the next day. So, the cycle starts again. Doing everything they used to do but still not an official couple in public.

After another few months and bugging from friends, A decided it's time to talk things out make things clear. This time, A couldn't talk anymore. Instead, A wrote to the other party and handed the letter to the other party right after their date. The letter was suppose to make things clear. Stated the decisions to be made. A was prepared for the worst. Was prepared to never hear from the other party again. After almost 48 hours, the other party called A to stay over. This call brought hopes to many parties. One will kind of know what will the other party say at this time, still calling after the letter. So, everything's settled.

Haha. That's not the end. A is still unsure at this time of the relationship. It still hasn't been said from the other party's mouth. This time I was confused. How can there be nothing after the talk and the letter. Could it be A is the problem? It was A who couldn't get the message? I don't know. I cannot understand! And A decided it's time for another talk again. At this time, I'm rather tired. I only want to be a listener. But I know, very soon, I won't even want to be a listener anymore. I don't know if A talked to the other party or not.

Heard from another friend how the other party's feeling. Apparently the other party tried to commit but couldn't. And this friend would advise A not to wait for the other party at all.

So, after hearing from A and friend, I thought it should be it. It should all end. Since the other party can't commit after such long "trial period", we should be able to guess what's going to happen. But guess what? A was with the other party yesterday. Which also left me speechless...

The blogging mood seem to be gone. Just about 2 weeks ago, I was blogging so often that a I surprised this friend of mine. Today, I'm blogging here for the sake of blogging. I think it's not just me. Even the few blogs I've been following has gone quiet for at least 1 whole week. What's happening? Have people gone lazy or the stars and planets caused this.

Anyways, nothing interesting has been happening. How time flies. Hy has been gone for almost 2 weeks already. Certainly missed but at the same time, the home is back to how it was and I kinda enjoying it too (Haha. Not that I don't like you staying with us Hy, but I do enjoy my privacy a lot too ;)).

**********

Recently, I did my first purchase online for the camera batteries. Overall, I'm very happy with the whole thing. Especially so because it was such bargain. I've checked with a few "photo-shops" for the battery but because Minolta is taken over by Sony, I couldn't find it off the shelves. I could order it from Sony though. That's quite a put off and the price is more than RM 200. Then I found one shop which has the generic ones but guess how much is it? It's freaking RM 150 for a generic one. How riduculous is that? Of course I didn't buy that. Then a smart friend reminded and even guided me directly to the item I want in lelong.com. It's generic but it's only RM 18 each. Yes, RM 18 compared to the RM 150 from the other shop. Of course it's such a bargain and the only issue left now is if it's too good to be true? That smart friend pointed that it's definitely worth a try. So, I made my first purchase online. Being the kiasu me, I bought two instead of just one. hehe. Got the package last week and I'm happy with the whole experience. A colleague warned me against the addiction of purchasing online. aahahhaha. I think that's really something I have to control. It's so convenient and the prices are so cheap!

**********

Oh yea. For those who knew me well enough will know that I don't have a valid passport, I"VE GOT A VALID one already. Now, there's no excuse for not buying me my holidays. I finally went to renew the passport when I got the free tickets from the AirAsia offer. So cheap skate hor. But that's alright. I have my passport now and yes, I can go visit Sam and his baby when I'm back home in JB. I'm going to Bangkok in May.

At the mean time, Bryan asked me to plan for another trip (with the mother. Yea, how boring!) to somewhere during the CNY. But since I don't have to pay for it, I'll try my best. However, I don't know if I want to be with the mom for so many days, sleeping in the same room. Luckily I still have some time to think about it. It even crossed my mind a while ago to tell Bryan to go alone with his mom. ahahahahhaha. It's not that funny also right. It would be nice for me to celebrate CNY alone, doing nothing, or not?

(Taken after our McD's breakfast in the car and hy's ready to leave...)

Hy's finally gone this morning. Am sure going to miss her so much. Felt it right away when I had to drive home all alone from the airport. She has been my companion when I travelled by car for the last 3 months. It hit harder when I got home and she wasn't there. All that's left of her is....

Am glad for her for the new and exciting life. But will see her soon, in 3 months' time, hopefully. :)

Over the last weekend, cj came from JB too. We had fun doing things together and took plenty of pics. But most of pics are with hy n cj. Only have these few...

Remember the pink heels I mentioned before. It is actually quite comfortable and I'm so happy I bought it.....

9 to 5 of rusty

We always wonder what Rusty does when we are away at work, everyday. Of cos, we know most of the time, he'll be sleeping. The only proof to support this statement is I notice that his eyes are normally quite white during the weekdays. However, come weekend, if we are home a lot, his eyes would be reddish by end of the day. So, we concluded that his eyes are red because he doesn't get enuf / sleep well during the weekends when we are home.
Hy has been staying with us for almost 3 months and she's Rusty's buddy now. From her, we've got proof of what really Rusty does in the afternoons....

He does this all by himself. We wonder how too!

Can't be bothered....

purse

I haven't used a proper purse/wallet for at least 2 years already. It started when I preferred smaller handbags. Due to restricted space, I had to do without my long purse most of the time and finally, ditched the purse altogether. After awhile, I got myself a card holder to store all the credit cards and IDs. During those times, I was doing without a proper "holder" for the notes (cash). There are normally placed in the zipped compartments in handbags and when I take out my cash, I will take the whole stack out. Have to admit that it didn't look too good. So I thought of using one of those money clips that Bryan has. But it won't make too much difference as I will still have to place the stack of cash in the compartment.

Then I thought it would be nice to have a card holder with a built-in money clip......

Tah da..........

This came into sight the very same day I was thinking of it. Bryan got one for himself! It's exactly the same the one I have in mind. Plus, it has an extra "slot" for the parking-card. I just paid for my season parking the very same afternoon. hehe...

Isn't it perfect?

Rusty's muke-boring everytime we play mahjong.

Scary sky! (on the way home from Pandan Indah. So proud of myself that I drove there all by myself without getting lost!)

Me and hy outside Low Yatt!

The cute clay-pug-figurines that MIL bought for me on her last US trip!

One of the few pairs of gorgeous heels mentioned earlier. Will post more as I improve my shooting skills as most of the pics taken earlier were not good enough.
