virgin summon

haha. got a summon this morning. yup, for the first time in my life.

i've always wondered how to offer to give "kopi" money in such situations.

for those who are new, here it goes:-

POL: haiyo cik, kenapa pakai emergency lane?
ME: aiyo en, traffik teruk lar
(continued with some small tok guided by the POL)... then...
POL: so, cik mau bayar 300 ringgit saman ke?
ME: boleh tak mau bayar ke? (i've already emptied my purse while waiting for him to finish up with the earlier victim and was left with a few 10s)
so, i told him i got not much money lar. ask him to let me keep 20 bucks for lunch and so on...
then he asked me to put under my license. so, as i was trying to fold the 20 bucks, he went...
POL: aiyo, lipat sikit lar. berapa u kasi ni?
ME: yalar. tengah lipat ni. 30 lar.

somemore he tried to justify himself with the 30 bucks "payment" and blah blah.

then somemore asked me where i work and said he lost his membership card and wat to do next.

celaka, i was late in the beginning. that's y i used the emergency lane. somemore stopped me and when all's done, 1 2 ask me about the procedure of getting his replacement card. HARLO!
